The NVQ Level 6 and NVQ Level 7 require one of our assessors to visit your current worksite. During this, they will guide you through:
• Induction
• Observations
• Questions
• Witness testimonial
• Personal discussion
• Evidence gathering
Based on these activities, you will be graded as ‘Competent’ or ‘Not Yet Competent’. This translates to either a pass or fail.
The CSCS Black Card evidences that individuals have the relevant skills, training, and experience to manage workers on a construction site.
To be eligible for the CSCS Black Card, you must pass the:
• CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test for Managers & Professionals
• Relevant NVQ Level 6 or NVQ Level 7
Once complete, you can apply for your CSCS Black Card online. Alternatively, we can apply for your card for a fee of £50+VAT.
The CSCS Black Card lasts for 5 years from the date of issue.
