Comments from Matt Durant (Director of BAM Construction Training LTD)
I have been working around the clock over the last few years making some real changes to our business and expanding my network of connections. We have worked with more companies than ever before this year and I am thrilled to have made it to the final 5 against some worthy contenders.
For those of you who know me, my phone is always on and I say this to highlight that I am the perfect person for this role. I am always on hand to answer queries and it would be fantastic to provide this help to an even broader spectrum.
If I win this, I will set up a direct email and distribute my phone number to each centre so they have a point of contact available for any questions. I also pledge to have visited EVERY single test centre in the UK over my 2 years as representative to get a real feel for industry.
I promise to take feedback to CPCS for developments to the scheme, with the difference that we will now be able to run it through with every Centre BEFORE releasing the updates rather than afterwards. I will also hold CPCS to account to make sure that any suggestions that gather enough support are discussed.
I will take this role seriously and attend every meeting come rain or shine. Read our story and my application for more information but let me say one final thing.
If you love the way we do things, if your candidates come back feeling empowered or if you want to make a difference – Vote for me so that we can raise the standards across the UK together.
