BAM Bi-Monthly Newsletter - March 2019

One of BAM’s New Year’s resolutions was to start a newsletter to keep our valued friends and colleagues up to date with the latest developments. We’re constantly adapting and with improvements happening daily, we thought best to narrow the list down to our four favourite achievements of the past two months.

Office Renovation

Where to begin? If you’ve visited us in 2019 you’ll no doubt have noticed the eye-catching office renovation. We’ve merged our three separate offices into one spacious open-plan, making communication between teams effortless. As you can see from the image below, we removed the partition walls, installed new wooden flooring and repainted to instil a modernistic feel. Newly rewired electrics and desk spaces will enable us to continue to deliver the highest-quality education.

The entrance to our Warren Farm site has also been given a facelift. The entry way has been completely refurbished with tarmac to ensure visitors receive a warm welcome to our flagship centre.

Purchase of Counterbalance Forklift Truck

After being inundated with requests for counterbalance forklift training courses in recent months, we thought it was time to purchase our own machine. Owning our own equipment means hire costs will no longer be passed on to our clients and allow us to host these courses more frequently than ever before.

Business Development Team

We have bolstered our business development team with the addition of three new employees. Increased traffic will mean we’re able to deliver more courses at a lower cost for our clients. The team will be reaching out to businesses across the UK to discover what training requirements are needed most. If there’s something you want to see, we want to hear it!

Finance Packages

We’re pleased to announce that our courses will now be available on finance. Owning a CPCS card will increase the opportunities available to professionals, often at a higher rate. CPCS Courses often come at a premium and we hope this payment option will enable more professionals to access the training they need, when they need it. Many of our customers have requested finance in the past as they know that once qualified, the course pays for itself. You can apply for finance directly on our website. Lending is always subject to status.

A word from Matt Durant (Managing Director)

We’re back firing on all cylinders after a much-needed Christmas shutdown. I hope that the addition of new staff and machinery will help us achieve our aim of delivering even more of the high-quality training needed to get our country building. We’ve won record-breaking contracts over these two short months and continue to invest heavily in our training centres. If we can continue on the same trajectory, we may need to open a fourth centre in the not so distant future!

But back to the present. Our focus over the next two months will be to consolidate and build on our existing relationships, while continuing to ensure our clients have everything they need to achieve and exceed their goals.
