We recently wrote an article outlining a recent CPCS update which stated that anyone with the retired A17D Telehandler category who make any amendments to their card after 28th August will be downgraded to A17C Telehandler (exc 360 Slew), unless they complete the CPCS A77 Telehandler 360 Slew (A89) Transitional Assessment. After posting the details of this announcement on our social media pages we were inundated with phone calls and messages from disgruntled operators demanding answers as to why CPCS had enforced this recent update – we appreciate your engagement and feedback. We would also like to thank our corporate clients in the industry for passing on feedback from industry to us. We have forwarded all your questions and concerns to CPCS and are currently awaiting a reply with justification for this update – as soon as we hear something we will update you all further.
In the meantime, we have scheduled an entire week of 1-day CPCS A77 Telehandler 360 Slew (A89) Transitional Assessments in July for you to book at a discounted rate. This week of transitional assessments will take place from Monday 16th to Friday 20th July at our centre in Wokingham, Berkshire. There are only 15 slots available (3 per day) and we have discounted the usual cost of £695+vat to £500+vat – for this week ONLY.!
