Course introduction

BAM Construction Training’s CPCS A49 Loader Securer Non STGO training course is designed to provide novice and intermediate operators with sufficient Loader Securer Non STGO training which will enable them to competently and safely carry out the role as a Loader Securer Non STGO Operator and pass the CPCS theory & practical assessments.

Eligibility

Candidates must have passed a valid health, safety and environment test for operatives within the past 2 years (also known as the CSCS touch screen test). We can accommodate this at our centre for a fee of £60 + VAT.

Course Learning Outcomes

Activity Instructions

Complete all manufacturers' pre-start and running checks.

Prepare the transporter for road travel – both loaded and unloaded.

Travel to the loading and unloading area.

Position, prepare and set the transporter for receiving and removing loads.

Establish the communication methods and loading arrangement with the plant operator.

Place or guide each load onto the transporter bed.

Position and secure all loads in preparation for travel.

Remove or guide loads from the transporter.

Stow all equipment and return the transporter to the park position.

Park the transporter and carry out shut-down and securing procedures.
